·         What is the pacing of the book? A moderate paced book with a lot of information to comprehend.
·         Describe the characters of the book. There aren’t any characters of the book that are there throughout the whole narrative. People’s experiences are used and historical facts are also used.
·         How does the story feel? Informative with the feeling of discovery. Not inspirational.
·         What is the intent of the author? The author’s intent is to inform their readers of how powerful an image can be and what this power can be used for in different hands.
·         What is the focus of the story? The changing of the image of Jesus Christ and how it’s used in America.
·          Does the language matter? No
·         Is the setting important and well described? Yes, the setting is changing cultures and societies in the United States. Each area that the book describes takes into account of their history and geography.
·         Are there details and if so what? Yes, plenty of details from individual people to understanding nuances in cultures.
·         Are there sufficient charts and other graphic materials? Are they useful and clear? Yes there are graphic materials used, like artwork.
·         Does the book stress moments of learning, understanding, or experience? All three moments are used. Learning about historical Christ imagery, understanding how image changes and what they can be useful for, and plenty of first-hand experience from the authors and other individuals.
